Reefer
Container Location Code |
|
Characteristics
- The container location code consists of 4 characters.
- Each face of a 20ft or 40 ft container is divided into
areas of 1,200mm x 1,200mm (4ft x 4ft). A numbering system is then applied
from the door end to the front end. In case of door and front panel, the numbering
is applied from left to right. For 20ft container, there are 5 sections numbered
1 to 5. For 40ft container, there are 5 sections numbered 1 to 0 (1, 2, 3,
4, 5....9, then 0).
- Different from the non-Reefer Container, Reefer Container has a refrigeration
unit, specially for which there exists another set of codes.
